First 5K

So, it has been a while. I must say, my life has not been all that interesting lately, which has given me little to write about. But, last weekend I did something that is pretty "post-worthy." I ran my first 5K! I had a time of 28:39.8 with a pace of 9:15. The weather was pretty cold when we got there...I could see my breath. But, the sun came out and warmed the air and it turned out to be a beautiful day!

Thank you to my friend who made me sign up for this race and thank you to my husband who encourages me daily. I am lucky to be surrounded with such wonderful people!

Another 5K coming this weekend...wish me luck!
